FRAMING.
DONE DIFFERENTLY.
WHY FRAMING BY FINCH?
Traditional framing often means choosing from small samples and trying to imagine the finished result.
I thought there should be a better way.
So I built Framing by Finch around a simple idea: see the possibilities first.
Your piece. Your choices. Designed visually before anything is made — then personally collected, handcrafted and delivered by me.
The craft might be traditional. The way I do it isn’t.
- Lewis
SEE IT BEFORE IT'S MADE.
NO MORE GUESSWORK.
I design around your actual piece, creating visual concepts
so you can compare frames, mounts, colours and layouts
before anything is made.
SEE IT FIRST.
FRAME IT SECOND.
DESIGNED AROUND YOUR PIECE.
NEVER ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL.
No templates. No standard combinations.
Every decision starts with your piece — its colours, proportions, character and where it will eventually live.
THE FRAME FITS THE PIECE.
NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
I'll keep looking until we find the one.
MORE CHOICE.
DON'T SETTLE FOR WHAT'S IN FRONT OF YOU.
I source from extensive collections by leading frame manufacturers,
giving you access to far more than a handful of corner samples.
MORE CHOICE.
MORE POSSIBILITIES.
JUST ME.
PERSONAL FROM START TO FINISH.
The person you speak to is the person who designs, collects, handcrafts and delivers your framing.
NOTHING IS PASSED DOWN A PRODUCTION LINE.
yep, it's me, from start to finish - Lewis
QUALITY WITHOUT COMPROMISE.
WHAT'S AROUND YOUR PIECE MATTERS.
Premium mouldings. Conservation-quality mountboards. Specialist glazing. Carefully considered finishing materials.
Everything is selected to look exceptional, perform properly and help protect what matters.
DESIGNED BEAUTIFULLY.
MADE PROPERLY.
FRAMING THAT COMES TO YOU.
THE FRAMING SHOP
COMES TO YOU.
Design remotely. See your options first.
Once everything's right, I personally collect your piece, handcraft it and deliver
it back finished.
NO CARRYING ARTWORK AROUND.
NO CHOOSING FROM TINY CORNER SAMPLES.
NO UNNECESSARY RUNNING AROUND.
You stay home. I'll do the running around.
